Not all table designs will accommodate the same amount of seating, so it's important to consider a few factors when choosing the best table style for your needs, and that works with the space allocated, and surrounding furniture, walls or doors.
Please take into account the following factors when selecting your table dimensions:
How many people you want to seat
The recommended space per person is 60cm, usually depending on the size of the chairs.
The space you have available for the table dimensions
Generally, it is important to allow a minimum of 90cm space between the table/chairs and any other furniture in the room or doors.
Whether you want to be able to seat at the head and foot of the table
We suggest adding a minimum of 30cm for personal leg room for those seated at the head and foot.
Always consider the base / table leg style and determine if it will allow for your seating preferences
Some leg styles might make it challenging for those seated at the head and foot to comfortably stretch their knees.
Tape out your space
Before deciding on your table top size, measure and tape out the area, allowing for the size of your chairs, and the size and where the base/legs will be.

The standard height for all our tables is 76 cm. For custom size requests, you can contact us through our Custom Production Orders page.
