The story of two friends who founded HWC Furniture.

HWC Furniture was officially established in 2021. Two close friends, Mustafa and Safa, decided to found HWC Furniture by combining their knowledge, experience, skills, and energy under one roof. They took their friendship, which began in 2009, into a partnership in a professional business.

What started in a workshop on the 3rd floor of a building in Ankara, has now grown to a large workshop on the ground floor of 300 m², a highly talented team, and over 300 unique handmade pieces delivered worldwide.

Mustafa, co-founder of HWC Furniture

Mustafa

He graduated from Hacettepe University with a degree in Sociology — an education that taught him to read how communities think, live and choose. He had wanted his own business since high school; he worked part-time throughout university and gained experience in four different sectors after graduating. In the end he decided to bring together mathematics, physics and craftsmanship. His goal was clear: to deliver the highest-quality furniture to the people who want it, and to communicate honestly at every step.

Safa

He graduated as an honors student from Hacettepe University's Computer Engineering department and worked for four years as a full-stack developer at a top-tier company. He filled in the missing gaps in Mustafa's startup idea and left his engineering career to turn HWC Furniture into a global brand. He established procedures for production quality by learning resin chemistry and basic carpentry skills; simultaneously, he grew the business by improving customer service and project management processes.

How we work

Every aspect of our furniture is conceptualized and crafted in-house with precision and innovation in mind. Our woodworking and metalworking both reflect the natural beauty of the material. Our designs combine an industrial aesthetic with traditional compositions, giving a modern touch to classic styles. We work one-on-one with each customer to ensure every piece perfectly complements their home.
